Fans of NCIS: L.A. are finally getting to see the long-awaited trailer for the season premiere. The short clip focuses on "Hetty" and "Nell" and raises a few questions. Watch the first trailer below...

NCIS: L.A. continues on November 8th in the USA. The premiere of the twelfth season is eagerly awaited by fans of the crime drama. Now the broadcaster CBS has released the first trailer.

This is what happens in the new episode of NCIS: L.A.

The trailer is only a few seconds long but gives a good insight into the first episode of the new season of NCIS: L.A. In the teaser, "Nell" is unexpectedly contacted by "Hetty". The head of the unit can be seen on a large screen.

To "Nells" surprise, "Hetty" wears military clothing and appears to be in a crisis area abroad. "Hetty, oh my god. Where are you?" the analyst asks, aghast, to which "Hetty" replies: "Nowhere I want to be."

Suddenly the building where the manager is standing wobbles and the connection is broken. Just like "Nell", the viewers are left with many questions. Where is "Hetty" and what happened to her there?

Like CBS already mentioned prior to the start of the new season, "Hetty" granted a mysterious assignment to "Nell." At the end of season 11, the analyst wanted to leave the unit but was initially persuaded to take a longer vacation. Will this assignment make her stay forever?

All of these questions will be answered soon. The twelfth season of NCIS: L.A. will be broadcast from November 8th.
