The 12th season of NCIS: L.A. continued on Sunday in the United States. After fans had to wait for almost a month, the show is now back on the TV screens!
The show returned with an episode called "The Frogman's Daughter" in which "Agent Sam Hanna" (LL Cool J) realizes his daughter has been kidnapped. Meanwhile, "Agent Callen" (Chris O'Donnell) tries to find out more about his sneaky girlfriend "Anna" (Bar Paly).
"Sam's" daughter "Kam" was visiting L.A. to participate in the local protests when she was kidnapped and held in jail cells with a few other people. The savvy young lady figured out a way to escape temporarily before she was recaptured. With the help of "Eric" and "Roundtree", they figure out that "Kam" is in trouble.
The crew finds her secret Instagram that revealed she had a boyfriend "Sam" didn't know about. After interrogating her boyfriend and chasing down some false leads, "Sam" figures out that a few other protesters were kidnapped too. It turns out she was taken by a group called "The Sandmen" who were corrupt members of the police force.
At the same time, "Kensi" was stressed about her fertility test results but eventually tells "Deeks" she wants to start a family with him. Luckily, the crew hunt "The Sandmen" down and rescue "Kam" just in time (and "Sam" still scolds his daughter for keeping secrets from him!). "Kam" even invites her dad to join him at the peaceful protests!
Does Duchess Meghan Visit NCIS: L.A.?
But fans were distracted by a surprising guest of the episode. And they asked themselves the question: Is that Duchess Meghan?
Alas, no, while the resemblance is astounding, the person is actually not Meghan, but Tiffany Smith! She plays the DHS agent "Megan Merkel" in the new NCIS episode. While it wasn't Meghan appearing on the show, the writers still allowed themselves a joke. Tiffany even took on the role of the Duchess once and played her in the movie Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal. Smith has also had minor roles in shows such as Supernatural, Jane the Virgin, and Into The Dark.
