NCIS: LA's Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen Discuss Hawaii Spin-Off

Many NCIS: New Orleans fans were heartbroken this week over the devastating news that it would be concluding after 8 seasons. Meanwhile, news also broke out that there could potentially be an NCIS: Hawaii currently in the works. In a recent interview with ET, the LA stars, Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen, spoke out about the new series.

"I think it's an exciting opportunity because, listen, Hawaii is Hawaii. And if there's anything that we want to watch on TV, it's people in paradise running around catching bad guys," Olsen stated.

He added, "I think it's a great opportunity for an expansion of the franchise."

Ruah agreed, commenting: "We obviously know that the recipe for this franchise has worked quite nicely. I mean, we have 18 seasons [for NCIS], 12 seasons [for NCIS: LA], seven for New Orleans and now a new one's coming. It's an attractive franchise. So hopefully they'll do great."

Though the two LA actors haven't been cast for this spin-off series, we're curious which NCIS stars will be brought to the forefront of it all!

You can catch the latest episodes of NCIS: LA on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT (U.S) on CBS, where Ruah will also be making her directorial debut this upcoming episode!
