There's an exciting home improvement show coming to Netflix that features many big-name celebs! As People reports, Get Organized with The Home Edit arrives on the streaming platform next month, and the first trailer for the star-studded show just dropped!
Get Organized helps out celebrities and regular families
Get Organized with The Home Edit follows Nashville-based professional organizing duo Joanna Teplin and Clea Shearer as they help make people's personal spaces more manageable. People mentions that each of the show's eight episodes will focus on one celebrity and one regular family. One of the featured celebs, Reese Witherspoon, also executive produces the show!
"This is my dream, dream, dream project that you guys would come and help me organize," Witherspoon can be seen saying in the trailer. Other stars to be featured include Khloé Kardashian, Eva Longoria, Retta, Jordana Brewster, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, and Kane and Katelyn Brown.
Show's organizing duo emphasizes "form plus function"
Get Organized's Teplin and Shearer emphasize that their approach is based on "form plus function" when it comes to creating an organizational system. "Our intention for everything that we do is to give people the tools to make a system smart, sustainable but beautiful," Teplin explains.
The duo, whose organization is called The Home Edit, currently has 1.6 million followers on its Instagram page. They've also released two lifestyle books— The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals and The Home Edit Life: The No-Guilt Guide to Owning What You Want and Organizing Everything.
The Home Edit is known on social media for their use of certain methods, including "rainbow ordering, abundant use of clear plastic bins, and enviable hand-lettered labels," as People shares. Teplin and Shearer will no doubt bring this fun and efficient brand of professionalism to their show, which hits Netflix on September 9.
