Ozark returns after a lengthy absence since season 2! Netflix today released the official trailer for Ozark season 3. The season will be added to Netflix in full on March 27.

Fans of the show had been waiting eagerly for new episodes of the crime drama series. Season 2 was streamed in full back in August 2018. See the new trailer for season 3 below!

Ozark season 3 on Netflix: What you can expect to see

Ozark stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as a married couple who pursue an illegal financial scheme in the Ozarks.

Netflix offers this exclusive official description of season 3:

"It's six months later, the casino is up and running, but Marty and Wendy are fighting for control of the family's destiny. Marty preaches keeping the status quo. Aided by an alliance with Helen and drug cartel leader Omar Navarro, Wendy plots for expansion. But when Wendy's brother Ben comes into town, everyone's lives are thrown into chaos."

Ozark season 3: Jason Bateman and Laura Linney return to Netflix

Ozark's first two seasons were well-received. The performances by the show's leads - Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, and Julia Garner - were especially praised.

In 2019, for OzarkBateman won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. Garner also won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in the same year.

Ozark debuted in 2017. A second season followed in 2018, and now season 3 resumes in 2020. Watch for it on Netflix later this month! Season 3 premieres on March 27.
