'Parasite' Stuns At The 2020 Oscars With Best Picture And Best Director Wins

Parasite director Bong Joon-ho is known for designing elaborate and detailed storyboards for his films.

Fans of Parasite will soon get an inside look at his creative process with the release of a new graphic novel version of the director's storyboards.

Parasite: A Graphic Novel in Storyboards is set for a North American release this May. The 304-page book is comprised of Bong's original storyboard art for the film.

Parasite will begin to stream on Hulu on April 8.

There was confusion about the film streaming on Amazon shortly after it won Best Picture. But actually, it was a different film titled Parasite from the 1980s that was available on Amazon Prime Video.

More Parasite material coming soon

Parasite is also being adapted into an English language series with HBO. The series will work with additional material written by Bong Joon-ho which was not included in the 2019 film.

Parasite was the first non-English language film to win Best Picture in the history of the Oscars when it did so earlier this month.

The film was also recently criticized by US President Donald Trump, who disliked that a South Korean film won the Academy's top prize.
