This weekend, Justin Melnick fortunately escaped a fall from a helicopter with no "serious injuries."

According to Deadline, the actor was fast roping from the helicopter with a dog when they both fell 20 feet. Melnick, known from the CBS military series SEAL Team, was shooting a private commercial on Saturday when the accident occurred.

SEAL Team actor Justin Melnick "recouping" after helicopter fall

Following the Feb. 20 incident, the actor is now "home and recouping with no serious injuries." It was initially reported that Melnick was injured and hospitalized after the fall, so the update comes as relieving news.

Since 2017, Melnick has been portraying "Brock Reynolds" on SEAL Team. He's a Bravo Team member and the canine handler, who performs with his real-life dog Dita (as "Cerberus") on the series. It's unclear if Dita was the pup who took a fall with Melnick, but the dog is also reportedly recovering and "in good condition."

SEAL Team is currently airing season 4 on CBS and will air its next episode on March 3.
