Ricky Schroder starred as similarly-named "Ricky Stratton" on Silver Spoons, beginning when he was 12 years old. The show concluded in 1987, when he turned 17. How has the former child star spent the past three-plus decades?
Silver Spoons was an underrated gem of 1980s TV comedy. The family sitcom aired five seasons on NBC (1982-1987) and starred Ricky Schroder as "Ricky Stratton," a teen who moves in with his wealthy but immature father, played by Joel Higgins.
The series followed the new rich kid life of "Ricky" and featured some youthful stars who are now very well-known, including Jason Bateman and Alfonso Ribeiro. Most of the cast is still with us today, except sadly for a few of the older stars, including John Houseman and Franklyn Seales. This gallery looks at where the cast of Silver Spoons is in 2020.
