The Bold Type has produced 4 successful seasons following the lives of "Jane", "Kat" and "Sutton". The young editor "Jane" is played by Katie Stevens. Aisha, who plays the role of "Kat Edison", was born and raised in Queensland, Australia. At the age of 17, she went to Los Angeles to pursue greater opportunities for her acting career, she explained to The Guardian. The third in the group is actress Meghann Fahy, who plays the role of "Sutton". Since 2017 she has been in a relationship with Billy Magnussen, who actually had a guest appearance in the second season of The Bold Type.
