The West Wing reunion special is coming to HBO Max later this month, and now the first teaser trailer has been released! As ET Canada shares, HBO has given fans a glimpse of what to expect from the show, which is titled A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote.

The West Wing cast members to perform season 3 episode

The West Wing has been off the air since 2006, so fans of the political drama will be excited to see the cast come together for the first time in years! As ET Canada mentions, the reunion special— which was announced back in August— comes in the form of a staged performance of the season 3 episode "Hartsfield’s Landing," and is intended to encourage American viewers to vote in the U.S. election. What's especially exciting is that many of the show's original cast members will be reprising their roles for the event!

Martin Sheen, Allison Janney, Rob Lowe, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, Dulé Hill, Janel Moloney, and Anna Deavere Smith will all be revisiting their West Wing characters for the special. They're joined by Sterling K. Brown, who has stepped in to play "Leo McGarry," a role originated by John Spencer. It's been announced that former First Lady Michelle Obama, President Bill Clinton, and even Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda are all set to make appearances as well!

A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote is coming to HBO Max on October 15, and you can check out the trailer right here!
