There was a wide variety of movies that crushed the box office in 2020. For fans of the horror genre, The Invisible Man was a huge success this year and had everyone on the edge of their seats. The movie tells a dark story about an abusive ex-boyfriend who becomes an invisible stalker. It released in the US in February 2020 and grossed a total of $70,410,000. When looking at more light-hearted movies, Dolittle also had an amazing year. The family/adventure film may not have been received well by critics, but that didn't stop it from grossing $77,047,065.

Everybody loves the array of heroes and villains from the DC universe. Although the "Joker" is usually the star of the show, it was about time that his female counterpart stepped forward into the spotlight. Margot Robbie starred as "Harley Quinn" in the film Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey. The movie was a huge success and grossed over 84 million dollars.
