"Jimmy" has come a long way on Yellowstone.

The story of the misfit-turned-cowboy has earned "Jimmy" many fans. But is he leaving Yellowstone after that season 4 finale? Here's what we know heading into season 5.

Yellowstone season 4 finale: Did "Jimmy" exit?

"Jimmy," played by actor Jefferson White, was away from the Yellowstone ranch for much of season 4. "John Dutton" sent him away to the 6666 (Four Sixes) ranch in Texas after he disobeyed him.

Yellowstone season 5: Is "Jimmy" leaving after that finale?

At the ranch, "Jimmy" grew and even found love. He returned to the Yellowstone in the season finale, and it appeared as though he's moving to the 6666 with his girlfriend "Emily."

So far, nothing has been confirmed about "Jimmy" leaving the series. But we should keep in mind that there is a spin-off series about the 6666 ranch in the works.

Is "Jimmy" leaving Yellowstone for new show 6666?

6666 doesn't have a release date or any cast confirmed, but you have to wonder if "Jimmy" could one day be a part of that new show.

Even actor Jefferson White appears to be in the dark about his future. On the Yellowstone behind-the-scenes show, the star said:

"It's an overwhelming feeling to feel like 'Jimmy' might be leaving the Yellowstone for good."

White added: "But only time will tell, and only one guy can make that decision: Taylor Sheridan."

Of course, Sheridan is the creator-writer of the Yellowstone universe, which recently added 1883 to its lineup.

It sounds like we'll have to wait for Yellowstone season 5 to learn "Jimmy's" fate. We'll also be watching for more 6666 news.
