Meghan Markle has added an Emmy nomination to her growing list of media credits. The Duchess of Sussex received a Daytime Emmy nod for her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, which landed in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category. According to People Magazine, the series will compete against A Different Breed, George to the Rescue, The Motherhood and The Wizard of Paws. The winner is set to be announced at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Oct. 30, giving Meghan a major awards-season moment in television.

Meghan Markle Lands Outstanding Lifestyle Program Nomination

The nomination places Meghan in a competitive field focused on lifestyle programming. The series centered on cooking, entertaining and gardening, with the duchess sharing personal interests on screen. Guest appearances across the run included Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, Tan France and Jay Shetty, while Prince Harry and Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland also appeared at points. The project marked a clear shift into lifestyle television for Meghan, blending celebrity guests with practical segments and a polished home-focused format designed for streaming audiences.

Netflix Series Ran for Two Seasons and a Holiday Special

The show first premiered in March 2025 and later returned for a second season that had been filmed back-to-back with the first. A holiday special followed later that year, extending the program beyond its initial run. Early viewership gave the series a place on Netflix’s global Top 10 list for one week, after it drew 2.6 million views and 12.6 million hours watched. A later Netflix engagement report for the first half of 2025 placed the program at No. 383 with 5.3 million views, showing a more mixed long-term performance.

Meghan Markle Spoke About Her Netflix Partnership

At Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C., Meghan discussed how her work arrangement with Netflix changed over time. "My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix then, not dissimilar to Higher Ground and the Obamas' deal, once that had come to its term, the extension of it — which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership — was now being in a first-look deal. Which is also exciting because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first, then at the same time, shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix but has a home somewhere else," Meghan said according to People Magazine.

Third Season Is Not Planned for the Show

The Emmy recognition arrives even as the future of the series appears limited. The outlet previously reported that there are currently no plans for a third season, though specials or one-off projects could still happen. Meghan also spoke about the demands of producing the series and the need to adapt content for different formats. "I think looking at that format — again, it's a year of learns — so we're able to say, 'Eight episodes for two seasons — it's a lot of work,'" Meghan said according to People Magazine. For now, the nomination gives the show fresh momentum ahead of the October ceremony.
