Luke Perry was part of the Beverly Hills, 90210 cast from the very beginning, but took a break from 1995 to 1998. During his time on 90210, he was one of the most eligible bachelors in the United States. After ten seasons, the series was cancelled in 2000.
Later on, the wonderful Luke Perry starred in other successful shows like Jeremiah, Windfall, Criminal Minds, and most recently Riverdale. He remained good friends with BH90210 co-stars Jason Priestley and Jennie Garth.

Actor Luke Perry was married to model Rachel Sharp for ten years, from 1993 until 2003, with whom he has two children, Jack and Sophie.
Unfortunately Luke Perry passed away from a massive stroke on March 4, 2019 at the age of 52. As a result of his death, his Riverdale character "Fred Andrews" also died and the season 4 premiere of the show paid tribute to him. At the time of his death he was engaged to therapist and former actress Wendy Madison Bauer.
