Inside Alessandra Ambrosio & Jamie Mazur's Former Love Story

Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio and American tycoon Jamie Mazur were in a relationship from 2005 to 2018. 

The Victoria's Secret angel and the RE/DONE jeans company founder were one of the fan-favorite couples during the time they were together, making multiple red-carpet appearances as a couple. 

Details on how one of the highest-paid models met the successful businessman are still a mystery, but some outlets have reported that they saw each other for the first time at a 2005 fashion event.

Starting 2005, Alessandra and Jamie were spotted together here and there. But it wasn't until 2008 that it was announced that they were expecting their first child together. Daughter Anja was born on August 24, 2008 in Brazil. The same year Alessandra and Jamie confirmed they had gotten engaged.

Four years later, the couple welcomed another family member: son Noah, who was born on May 8, 2012. 

By 2015, the couple were still together, but they hadn't tied the knot yet. In an interview with 'Extra TV', Alessandra explained why she and Jamie hadn't married. Apparently, she wanted her wedding to be perfect and their busy schedules were preventing them from organizing it. She said: "When I do the wedding, it's gonna be very special, so I want to take time for that." 

In 2016, Alessandra revealed the key to a successful relationship. In an interview with 'Cosmopolitan', the VS model said that it all had to do with spending some alone time. She said: "I travel all the time, so I think that helps keep the spark alive, because it’s not like I’m here every day. I’m not an everyday-at-home kind of person."

She then went on to make it clear, once again, that tying the knot wasn't one of her priorities at the time. She told the mag: "If I have been engaged to him for eight years, then it’s not my priority. I have a lot of things going on, and I haven’t got married because I’m so busy. I’ll think about that when I have time off."

In 2017 fans noticed that Alessandra and Jamie had been absent from each other's side at multiple events, for instance, the 2017 Super Bowl.

On December 25, 2017, Alessandra posted on Instagram an adorable family picture of herself, Jamie and their children. "Feliz Natal [Merry Christmas] ", she captioned the image. 

Little did their fans know that the festive post would be the last time the model posted a photo with Mazur.

In March 16, 'Us Weekly' confirmed that the pair had split. An insider told the magazine: "They [have] been trying to keep their split on the down low, but Alessandra has been out and about ready to mingle and hasn’t been taking Jamie to anything."

Alessandra and her ex-fiancé still spend family time together with their children, as they are their #1 priority.

After their breakup, Alessandra was romantically linked to designer Nicolo Oddi.

In 2021 she started dating model Richard Lee, but in September 2023, 'The Daily Mail' reported that they were "on a break."
