Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have had a rollercoaster of a relationship, starting off burning hot and passionate, before ending in a messy divorce. 

Now, an inside source revealed to People that the couple took themselves to therapy in order to be better parents to their six children.

Four years after their messy custody battles and endless fights, both Pitt and Jolie can say they are in a much better place and are working amicably towards co-parenting their six children.

"They definitely needed help figuring out all the child-custody issues and how Brad could be a dad again," the source said.

"Since the kids are older now, they are no longer dealing with separation issues from Angie," they continued.

"It’s taken them a long time, with a lot of family therapy, to get to this point," the source revealed, adding that the tension between the couple has subsided significantly.

"The younger kids go back and forth between their houses, and Brad loves spending as much time with them as possible. He seems much happier," they said.
