Pamela Blair dies in her Phoenix home

According to 'People', the actress, who originated the role of "Val" in the hit Broadway show 'A Chorus Line', was sick for months before tragically passing away. Several friends and former costars paid their respects online, and shared emotional words with the public.

Baayork Lee, who starred alongside Pamela in 'A Chorus Line', posted thoughtful words about her former colleague on Facebook.

"I am very sad to say my Sagittarian sister Pam Blair has gone to play with her [A Chorus Line] Colleagues among the clouds," she says. She went on to reminisce about their time together on Broadway, and Pamela's incredible performance.

“She brought the house down every night," Lee says. “You are free now Pammie so dance, dance, dance among the stars,” she concluded her post.
