Sad news from Hollywood: Angela Lansbury has died. Her family confirmed the news to People. Reportedly, the actress died on October 11. She was 96 years old.
"The children of Dame Angela Lansbury are sad to announce that their mother died peacefully in her sleep at home in Los Angeles at 1:30 a.m. today, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, just five days shy of her 97th birthday," the statement said.

Angela Lansbury, who was beautiful when she was young, is best known for her role as amateur detective "Jessica Fletcher." Until recently, she was still seen in some productions such as Mary Poppins' Returns and the mini-series Little Women.
