Prior to this, in February of the same year, she signed a one-year contract worth $170,000 before transitioning to new ventures.
Liz Cambage's joins OnlyFans
After leaving the WNBA, Cambage joined Maccabi Bnot Ashdod in Israel and currently plays for Sichuan Yuanada in China. At the same time, she launched her OnlyFans career, where her earnings quickly surpassed those from her time in professional basketball.
As reported by 'Daily Mail,' Cambage made more money in her first week on OnlyFans than she had in her entire basketball career. She shared that her decision to join the platform was about more than just financial gain; it was an opportunity to express a different side of herself. "Basketball was a part of me, but it wasn’t all of me," she said. Cambage posts a mix of fashion-forward, artistic, and suggestive content, showcasing her creativity.

Pay gaps in professional sports
Cambage's success on OnlyFans has sparked renewed discussions about the pay disparity between professional women’s sports and their male counterparts, particularly the WNBA and NBA.
Despite earning $221,450 in her highest-paid WNBA season, Cambage’s income from OnlyFans has been substantial by comparison. She now earns approximately $1.5 million annually on the platform, while continuing to grow her personal brand. She shared that she’s “not closing any doors, but is currently focused on building something new."
Cambage's new creative direction
In addition to her time with the Sparks, Cambage was drafted by the Tulsa Shock in 2011 and went on to play for the Dallas Wings and Las Vegas Aces. She was named WNBA scoring leader and was selected for the All-WNBA First Team in 2018. Representing Australia, she earned a silver medal at the 2018 FIBA World Championship and a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Cambage also works as a model and DJ on Instagram.
