Paul Zaloom is best known for his eccentric character, scientist "Beakman," on the educational television show Beakman's World, where he performed demonstrations and experiments in order to teach scientific concepts, mostly related to electricity and density.

Although Beakman's World ended a few years ago, Paul Zaloom's career has not stopped! It is true that he doesn't appear on television that often now, but he has performed his work at many types of venues, mostly across the United States.

Not only does Paul Zaloom know A LOT about science and chemistry, in fact he is also a puppeteer. He has taught puppetry and cantastoria (the art of singing or telling a story while gesturing to a series of images), at different universities and colleges not only in America but also in Europe.
