Betty White (†99) has died. TMZ reported the news on December 31, 2021. According to them, the actress died on New Year's Eve in her home. In just a few days, she would have celebrated her 100th birthday.

Betty White Has Died

Betty White is considered one the most important television actresses of all time. She has appeared in countless films and shows for more than 80 years. Her career began in the late 1930s.

She appeared in front of the camera when she was just a schoolgirl and after high school, she practiced as an actress before showing her comedic talent and moderation skills on Hollywood on Television

Jobs in sketch and game shows followed, and White increasingly acted as a producer. As a pioneer, she paved the way for women in Hollywood.

Betty White's Starring Roles

Despite her age, Betty White's successful career was yet to come. Her roles in the Mary Tyler Moore Show in the 1970s and her portrayal of "Rose" in Golden Girls earned her several Emmys.

Subsequently, Betty was seen in many other series such as That 70s Show, Malcolm in the Middle, and Ally McBeal. Occasionally she also played minor roles in the cinema.

Betty White's Personal Life

Betty White has been married three times and has no biological children. However, she is the stepmother of the three children of her last husband Allen Ludden, whom she met on the show Password.

White has been very committed to animal welfare for many years. She supported the zoo in Los Angeles financially, as a spokesperson and even actively helped to set up some projects. 

She will be greatly missed. Betty White would have turned 100 years old on January 17th, 2022.
