Bindi is beautiful in white

On Wednesday, Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell tied the knot at the Australian Zoo.

The two hurried their nuptials due to strict COVID-19 restrictions that are slowly being implemented in the land down under.

The two met at the zoo six years ago, and have shared their sweet day for the public.

“There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now," Irwin said.

Irwin confirmed that there were no actual guests at the zoo due to the pandemic, but that her family was able to be in attendance since they live on the zoo grounds.

The wedding was live streamed via drone footage.

As of last Tuesday, officials encouraged people with weddings planned to have no more than 5 guests to stop the progress of the pandemic.

Irwin also posted a photo last week of the late Steve Irwin, saying that he is always with her.

It was originally planned that her younger brother Robert would walk her down the aisle saying, "I’m always so grateful that Robert is there, and he has been such a big part of my life and he’s always stepped up and been the one to give me a hug when I need it and encourage me forward in life.”
