Good news: UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, 57, and wife Carrie Symonds, 33, have become proud parents for the second time.

A healthy baby girl was born in a London hospital on Dec. 9. The couple hasn't announced the name of their daughter at this time.

Boris Johnson has become a dad again

A spokesman for the couple announced in a statement to the British press: "The prime minister and Mrs Johnson are delighted to announce the birth of a healthy baby girl at a London hospital earlier today.

"Both mother and daughter are doing very well. The couple would like to thank the brilliant NHS maternity team for all their care and support."

After the birth of their son Wilfred in April 2020, it is the couple's second child. For PM Johnson, the child is already his seventh.

Six were born across his three marriages, and one child is also believed to have been born in an extramarital affair.

The UK prime minister got married to Carrie Symonds in May of this year.
