Actor Chad Lowe is coping with a tragic loss: His 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, has died. The family confirmed her death in a statement.
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance,” the family said, according to Page Six. In the statement, the family also asked for prayers and privacy. Fiona was one of three daughters Chad Lowe shares with his wife, producer Kim Painter.

In addition to Fiona, Chad Lowe and Kim Painter have two other daughters: Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10. The couple has been married since August 2010. Before this marriage, the 58-year-old actor was married to Hilary Swank. Their marriage ended in January 2006 after eight years.
The family’s statement said that Fiona was deeply loved by her sisters and had been “the light of our lives” for her parents.
His Latest Instagram Post Was for Fiona’s Birthday
Lowe last wrote publicly about Fiona in November 2025. The occasion was her birthday, when she turned 13. He shared a photo of her smiling while wearing cowboy boots.
In February 2025, he had also shared photos of his daughters visiting what remained of their family home in Los Angeles after it was completely destroyed in the Palisades Fire. In one of the photos, all three girls had their arms around each other as they stood together in front of the ruins.
