  • The rumor mill has often been buzzing that the two are more than just colleagues
  • Now Scarlett Johansson unpacks the details in a podcast

Regarding Marvel superheroes, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are incredibly popular. They have been working together in said films since 2010.

As is so often the case with co-stars, there have been constant rumors of them being more than just colleagues. Scarlett Johansson spills the beans and reveals what really happened between her and Chris Evans.

On SiriusXM radio station's podcast The Jess Cagle Podcast, the actress spoke to Julia Cunningham about her relationship with Chris. She made it clear once and for all that the only thing going on between them is that of friendship. The "Black Widow" actress said in an interview:

"I've been very close with Chris for such a long time. The first time we worked together, we did a movie called, The Perfect Score when I was 17", said Scarlett Johansson for The Jess Cagle Podcast.

Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans have been very close friends for year

The "Captain America" actor Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are just friends, as she clarified in the podcast. "We could talk for hours, and about all kinds of stuff, in a way the sort of like big sister relationship that Nat has sometimes with Steve – even though Chris is a couple of years older than me – but I think we sort of have that same dynamic," Scarlett Johansson added.

All the rumors that had been accumulating over the years are therefore no longer relevant. The Hollywood stars have been just good friends since they met on the set of the 2004 comedy The Perfect Score.
