Sorry ladies! It's official. "Captain America" is a married man and he is happy about it! Chris Evans tied the knot with actress Alba Baptista at a private estate in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, on Saturday, according to 'People' magazine. And it was by no means a small affair, as several big names were in attendance at the big day. Guests included the bride and groom’s family, as well as Evans’ co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner, as well as John Krasinski and wife Emily Blunt.

Many were beginning to wonder if Evans would ever tie the know. Although his relationship has been kept pretty private up until now, the couple wants to share the news with the world.
Insiders who spoke to 'Page Six' said the affair was "locked down tight," with guests signing NDAs and handing over the phones before the nuptials. No pictures allowed, of course! And you don't want to upset "Captain America." Their relationship first came to light around November 2022, after 'People' broke the story and reported the pair had been dating for "over a year." Who knew?
"They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her," a source close to the actor told the magazine back then. But who is the little beauty that captured his heart?
Alba Baptista, who hails from Portugal, starred in the Netflix series 'Warrior Nun' from 2020 to 2022. She earned a Shooting Star Award at the 2021 Berlinale and appeared in the chic, historical comedy 'Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris' last year. Her biggest achievement is perhaps landing Evans.

It's nice to see Chris getting what he wants, for a change, right? In a 2022 interview after he was declared the “Sexiest Man of the Year", Evans told 'People' magazine that he was excited to have a family sometime down the line. It turns out the future is now!
"That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family," he said. "When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared."
Fans are eager to see the happy couple out and in the open. Who knows? Before long we could have little superheroes running around the Evans house!
