Ryan Phillippe was born on September 10th, 1974 in New Castle, Delaware. His acting debut was in the ABC daytime drama One Life to Live playing the role of "Billy Douglas" from 1992 to 1993.

From then on, he got some pretty prestigious roles in films like I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), 54 (1998), and of course Cruel Intentions (1999).

Ryan was married to his Cruel Intentions co-star Reese Witherspoon from 1999 to 2008 and they had a daughter, Ava Elizabeth born in September 1999, and a son, Deacon Reese born in 2003. Ryan also had another daughter named Kai with his ex Alexis Knapp in 2011.

In 2014, Phillippe starred in the pilot series Secrets and Lies for a ten-episode run.
