Only a couple of days ago fans were really surprised after learning that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are separating after eight months of marriage; the couple revealed that it is time for them to focus on themselves as individuals.

After announcing her split from Liam, the American singer shared a couple of pictures on Instagram where she addressed their breakup by mentioning that human beings can't fight evolution and that "life is a climb." But now she just released a very emotional track and fans just loved it!

Miley Cyrus' new song Slide Away is all about letting go, and it clearly references her split from Liam: "Once upon a time it was made for us, woke up one day and it turned to dust. Baby, we were found, but now we’re lost, so it’s time to let it go”, is what she sings in her new track.

Although some fans were deeply saddened after Liam and Miley's separation was announced, some other actually saw it coming and agreed on the fact that it was the best decision since their relationship was reportedly unhealthy. In the past days Miley was spotted in Italy with the also newly-single star Kaitlynn Carter; while Liam has spent some time in Australia with his brother Chris Hemsworth.
