Eliza Taylor stars as The 100's "Clarke Griffin", but what was she doing before starring on the hit CW drama? Born October 24, 1989, in Melbourne, Australia, Eliza Taylor had other ambitions before deciding to become an actress.
Interested in sea animals from an early age, Eliza dreamed of becoming a marine biologist as a little girl. However, after landing a lead role in 2003 on an Australian children's program, Pirate Islands, she would discover her passion for acting.
Eliza Taylor The 100
Before Eliza Taylor became The 100's "Clarke Griffin", she would rise to fame on popular Australian soap opera Neighbours. Taylor would play the part of "Janae Timmins" regularly for two years until 2007 when she decided to leave the series.
Between Neighbours and The 100, Eliza Taylor took on a number of smaller roles including:
- The Laundromat (2009)
- 6 Plots (2012)
- The November Man (2014)
In 2014, Eliza Taylor had just moved to LA when her credit card and the rest of her wallet were stolen! She was ready to give up and head back to Australia when she got the call that would lead to the second biggest role of her career, The 100.
