Kaia Gerber paid tribute to her older brother by sharing a childhood video of the two of them, along with a photo of them together on the beach.

In the caption, she wrote: "I love you the bluest, to the moon and back and back again, forever big brother."

In a longer message, Kaia opened up about the emptiness she has felt since his death and how she is learning to maintain a connection with him despite his absence. She described learning to love him without being able to see him and to speak to him without picking up the phone.

"To say loving you was the easiest thing in the world would imply that it required any effort at all. I was born loving you," she wrote.

According to reports, Presley Gerber was admitted to the Resolutions Living rehabilitation facility on September 19 and was found dead the following morning.

The Santa Monica Police Department reportedly treated the case as a suspected drug-related death. Although an autopsy was performed, the official cause and manner of death have yet to be determined.

Additional testing has reportedly been requested by the medical examiner, meaning a final determination could take several months. Police are also said to be investigating the source of the drugs allegedly involved.

Presley had previously spoken openly about his struggles with addiction and mental health, both during public appearances and on social media.

Following reports of his death, the facility also came under scrutiny. According to the Los Angeles Times, Resolutions Living operates in a regulatory gray area and is not licensed to provide medical care.

Following a complaint filed in September, the California Department of Public Health reportedly launched an investigation into whether the facility had provided services requiring a state license.
