  • He fell attempting a stunt in Hong Kong
  • THIS is what police say

French daredevil Remi Lucidi has died after falling off a residential skyscraper in Hong Kong, reports say. Remi was last seen knocking on the window of a penthouse on the 68th floor of the Tregunter Tower on Thursday, according to the 'South China Morning Post'. Remi was known for incredible stunts with no safety harness, hanging off skyscrapers and other structures.

Remi went one stunt too far

A maid is said to have called police after spotting the 30-year-old outside the window as Remi apparently tried to seek help before losing his footing and falling to his death. Police said the daredevil, who goes by the name Remi Enigma on social media, had fallen before officers arrived. His camera contained videos of extreme sports and was reportedly found at the scene, along with his French ID card. The report says that a 30-year-old man's body was found on a patio but they did not release the identity of the person. "A preliminary investigation suggested the man was an extreme sports enthusiast," a source said.

Also interesting:

"It is possible that he got trapped outside the penthouse while practicing an extreme sport in the building, and he knocked on the window for help, but accidentally fell to his death." This would have been arguably his biggest stunt to date, have hung off other buildings like the Chernobyl ruins in the past. Remi reportedly entered the Tregunter Tower, located in Hong Kong's upscale district, on Thursday and told a security guard he was visiting a friend on the 40th floor. Just like many of his other stunts, he didn't exactly have permission to be there.

For many fans he was an absolute hero who lived life to the fullest: "Bro went out doing what he loved! He lived his life fully. Not many can say that," one fan commented on his last Instagram post.
