Robert Pattinson - During a career dry spell after 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' (2005), Pattinson revealed to 'The Mirror' in 2011 that he used a little white lie to explain his lack of work in LA. He claimed he was part of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in Oxford. With his English accent, it worked initially, but as more Brits entered LA, he had to switch tactics and pretend to be American. However, when 'Twilight' came out, trying to maintain an American accent seemed crazy, so he eventually stopped the act.

In a 2016 interview with 'RadioTimes', Chris Hemsworth revealed an interesting fact about his auditions. While most men tend to exaggerate their height, Hemsworth did the opposite. He would lower his actual height, which is 6 feet and three inches, when auditioning for roles that required shorter actors. Luckily, when it came to casting for Thor, his real height of 6 feet and three inches fit the bill perfectly.

Even though she was allergic to them and terrified at the time, she replied that she loved horses. Despite her fears and allergies, she got the part and managed her allergies with antihistamines. Overcoming her fear was the real challenge, but thankfully, she succeeded in pulling it off.

Gillian Anderson wanted to play "Dana Scully" on 'The X-Files' so much that she lied about her age during the audition. She said she was 27 when she was actually 24 at the time. She later confessed, "I lied about my age on the first audition. So I said that I was 27. So that's how you get that job."

In his early days, George Clooney was determined to secure better roles to join the Screen Actors Guild and pursue a successful Hollywood career. In an audition, he lied about being in the movie 'Cat People' (1982). Unluckily for him, the casting director he lied to was also the same one for 'Cat People.'
