As the saying goes, "behind every great man there is a great woman". The role of First Lady of the United States comes with many responsibilities, which Jill Biden is more than ready for. The 69-year-old earned her Doctorate in Education back in 2007 and is a teacher by profession. She grew up in Pennsylvania, north of Philadelphia along with her four younger siblings.
Jill met Joe in 1975 and within the span of two years, the couple would get married. In 1981 they would have their first and only child together, Ashley Biden. In order to take care of her daughter and Joe's two sons from his first marriage, the new mother took a break from her profession for two years.
