• Jonathan Majors is an American film actor
  • He was accused of assault by an ex-girlfriend
  • THIS is where the case is at now

In a sudden twist in the tale, Grace Jabbari, the woman who has accused Jonathan Majors of attacking her on March 25, has been arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief. 'The Hollywood Reporter' claims that Jabbari was arrested in Manhattan on Wednesday. She was released on a desk appearance. The DA has said they will not prosecute her on any charges related to the incident.

What does this mean for Jonathan? Majors faces misdemeanor charges of harassment and assault after being arrested following the alleged domestic violence incident on March 25. Police responded to a 911 call and a 30-year-old woman reported being assaulted by Majors, with police noting that she had sustained minor injuries. Majors was released from police custody later that day.

Jonathan could be vindicated after all

Sources close to TMZ say that Jabbari allegedly scratched Majors on his right hand and smacked him across the face with an open hand, causing a cut to his cheek and ear pain. She then allegedly tore buttons off his coat, and damaged the front pocket. But there is one little problem for Majors here: the Manhattan D.A.’s office filed court papers Tuesday, saying it informed the NYPD last month it has no intention of prosecuting Jabbari for "the belated allegations made by defendant [Majors] regarding the incident on March 25, 2023."

Court documents filed in relations to Majors’ case, have prosecutors telling police that they will not prosecute Jabbari, saying it comes as part of the routine process of evaluating cross complaints in domestic violence cases. Jabbari and her attorney were informed of this decision on Sept. 21.

An investigatory card, or I-Card, which is not an arrest warrant, but is an NYPD document alerting officers that there is probable cause for an arrest, was also issued for Jabbari in late June, the documents state. Prosecutors asked the NYPD to issue Jabbari a desk appearance ticket, which requires her to return to court at a specified date, rather than waiting in custody for an arraignment.

The plot can still thicken

There has been trouble brewing all around, and it's still unclear what really happened between them. The prosecution had planned to provide travel and lodging to the U.S. for Jabbari, who is a British citizen, in order for her to testify at Majors’ trial, according to the documents.

An official trial date of Nov. 29 was set Wednesday for Majors, who virtually attended his hearing in New York Criminal Court. New York Judge Michael Gaffey also denied defense’s motion to dismiss the case.

But Jonathan is confident of his truth. Majors believes his side has a smoking gun proving his innocence: security footage of Jabbari partying all night after the alleged attack. In court docs, Major's attorney noted Jabbari was seen walking normally into the establishment, ordering drinks, dancing and pushing her hair back with the hand she claimed Majors injured.

While more evidence is bound to come out in court, fans are wondering what this could all mean for Majors, whose career was just taking off into the stratosphere.

The 34-year-old actor came to the limelight with his role in an independent film titled 'The Last Black Man in San Francisco'. This year, he also appeared in 'Creed III'. The actor has a long way to go in Hollywood, but he has already received a lot of praise for his work in the industry. Sources says the salary of the actor is around $500K per month, including his movies, endorsements, events, and collaborations.

After giving the audience a villain like "Thanos", the MCU is now doing its best to set up "Kang" as the next big villain. Jonathan Majors has been doing a great job at portraying the role, and people are willing to see more of him in the upcoming projects.

Things took an ugly turn for the actor after he was accused and arrested for domestic violence and so it's not quite clear what will happen now. Until all the evidence is heard, let's hope fans will also reserve judgment.
