If you grew up in the 1990s you were probably very familiar with one of Nickelodeon's most popular shows, Kenan & Kel, which originally aired from 1996 to 2000.
Set in Chicago, Illinois, the story revolved around the lives of Kenan Rockmore (Kenan Thompson) and Kel Kimble (Kel Mitchell), two best friends who go on a series of funny situations in their daily lives. We were very used to seeing them on screen but what are the Nickelodeon stars doing now?
Where is Kenan Thompson today?
The 44-year-old actor, originally from Atlanta has been working on numerous projects since Kenan & Kel ended in 2000. In 2003 he appeared in My Boss's Daughter, 2011 he voiced "Greedy Smurf" in the film The Smurfs. Most recently he appeared in the 2018 film The Grinch, and in the 2019 movies Wonder Park and Playmobil: The Movie. Most recently, he starred in the films Spinning Gold and Hubie Halloween.
Kenan Thompson is also famous for appearing in SNL, but at some point, he refused to portray black women on the show and actually demanded SNL hire black women instead. Regarding his personal life, he is happily married to Christina Evangelina since 2011 and he has two children with her.

Kel Mitchell has also been working a lot since Kenan & Kel ended a couple of years ago. The 44-year-old actor, originally from Chicago, has appeared in a series of films and television shows like One on One in 2005, The First Family in 2012, and Game Shakers from 2015 to 2019. Most recently he hosted the 2019 show Tails of Valor and was a contestant in the reality television show Dancing With the Stars.

Regarding his personal life, Kel Mitchell was married to Tryisha Hampton-Mitchell for six years but they divorced in 2005; later on, in 2012 he got married again to rapper Asia Lee and together they have one daughter who was born in 2017.
