• Michael B. Jordan is a celebrated American actor
  • His Ferrari was involved in a major car crash
  • THIS is what we know so far

Don't worry, this story has a happy ending when it's all said and done. The 'Creed 3' maestro was involved in a car crash that could've sent Hollywood into a frenzy, but fear not, our hero emerged without a scratch! The collision, which took place at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and North Beachwood Drive, had all the makings of a blockbuster cliffhanger.

But according to a source close to the star, Jordan is "okay and uninjured" after the automotive mishap. Talk about a knockout performance!

Michael had a close call

Choosing safety over spectacle, Jordan opted out of Sunday night's Academy Museum Gala, where he was due to be showered with applause for his Vantage Award. His sister Jamila stepped into the spotlight to accept the accolade from none other than director Christopher Nolan.

The collision happened around midnight Sunday on Sunset Boulevard and North Beachwood Drive.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the blue Ferrari crashed into a parked car on the street. Police did not confirm if Jordan was the one driving or if he was even in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Last summer, 'Creed' and 'Black Panther' star Michael B. Jordan posted a video on Instagram showing him testing out a Ferrari 296 GTB at a racetrack. Jordan can be seen enjoying the rush of taking the car through tight turns at high speeds. Now the actor and Los Angeles resident will probably be in the market for a new luxury sports car...

While Jordan missed out on rubbing elbows with the likes of Meryl Streep and Oprah Winfrey, the LAPD confirmed that no one else was involved in the vehicle crash. The streets of Hollywood remained as calm as the aftermath of a Jordan uppercut – no injuries reported!

Los Angeles police declined to say who was part of the crash, confirming only that there was an incident about 11:30 p.m. at Sunset Boulevard and North Beachwood Drive. No one was arrested after the incident.

Several news outlets showed video of a light blue Ferrari 812 Superfast with one of its wheels and side bumpers sheared off. The video also showed a nearby Kia Niro SUV that was badly damaged. 'Car & Driver' reports the Ferrari goes for nearly $430,000.

Also interesting:

As the director of 'Creed III,' Jordan is no stranger to dramatic confrontations. In the film, he hangs up his gloves to focus on family and training the next wave of boxing champs. His character faces off against a former friend, played by Jonathan Majors, in a cinematic bout that's sure to have audiences on the edge of their seats.

But for now, Jordan's most talked-about face-off seems to have been with an immovable object on Sunset Boulevard.

As the dust settles on the scene, we're just glad that Michael B. Jordan can continue to float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, and drive... perhaps a little more carefully.
