It's a sad story that now has a new chapter. Over a year after Michael's death, a man accused of selling the actor laced drugs has pleaded guilty to a charge in connection to his death. Irvin Cartagena pleaded guilty on April 5 to one count of conspiracy to distribute, and possession of heroin, fentanyl, and fentanyl analogue.

The case seems to be rock-solid against Cartagena. The prosecutor claims that he sold the actor laced heroin with fentanyl which is a deadly combination of drugs. "Irvin Cartagena sold fentanyl-laced heroin in broad daylight in New York City, feeding addiction and causing tragedy," the U.S. Attorney said.
