As a child already, Anna Chlumsky (40) stood in front of the camera for commercials. She eventually moved to the big screen and played her first leading role in My Girl.

Alongside Macaulay Culkin, Dan Aykroyd and Jamie Lee Curtis she played the role of "Vada Sultenfuss". Chlumsky received many awards for her role, she received three "MTV Movie Awards" alone in 1992.

My Girl: Anna Chlumsky went on a hiatus

Anna Chlumsky became a celebrated child star with My Girl and her great success. After the sequel, the young actress rejected several role offers. Among them was a TV series which was going to be written just for her.

At the end of the nineties, she distanced herself completely from acting, she studied and later worked as a restaurant critic. Anna Chlumsky only started working as an actress again in 2005.

She fought her way back into business with guest roles in Law and Order and White Collar. For her role in Veep, she won the Emmy in 2013 as Best Supporting Actress.

In 2017, together with Shemar Moore, she presented the nominees for the year's Emmy Awards. In addition to Veep, Anna Chlumsky also appears on the small screen in Halt and Catch Fire in the role of "Katie Herman". Her next project is the Netflix series Inventing Anna, which is produced by the amazing Shonda Rhimes.

Anna Chlumsky is now a mother of two

The actress is happily married today and has two daughters. Anna Chlumsky married the entrepreneur Shaun So in 2008. In 2013, her daughter Penelope Joan was born, followed three years later by little Clara Elizabeth.

After the birth of her children, the actress showed herself in public in amazing shape. Great to see that things worked out so well for little "Vada"!
