James Franco Is Denying Allegations!
Woody Allen's new memoir, titled Apropos of Nothing, was announced on Monday. It will be released on April 7 by Grand Central Publishing, a part of Hachette Book Group.
Dylan Farrow, who was adopted in 1985 by Allen and his former girlfriend, Mia Farrow, directed a harsh message to the publishing group.
Farrow has accused Allen of molesting her as a child. The case went to court in the early 1990s, but Allen was not convicted. The accusations have resurfaced in recent years as part of the #MeToo movement.

Dylan Farrow calls out Woody Allen's publisher
Dylan Farrow released a statement following the news of Allen's memoir:
"Hachette's publishing of Woody Allen’s memoir is deeply unsettling to me personally and an utter betrayal of my brother [Ronan Farrow] whose brave reporting, capitalized on by Hachette, gave voice to numerous survivors of sexual assault by powerful men."
Ronan Farrow, the biological son of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow, played a role in reporting the stories of women who were assaulted by Harvey Weinstein. He also published a book with Hachette about his investigation.

Woody Allen: A career complicated by scandal
Woody Allen remains a divisive figure in Hollywood. He's a Best Picture-winning director and acclaimed filmmaker. But the sexual abuse allegations, along with his marriage to Soon-Yi Previn, have attached controversy to his name.
Many in Hollywood have denounced their work with him in support of Dylan Farrow. She also further criticized Allen's publisher over fact checking negligence.
"For the record, I was never contacted by any fact checkers to verify the information in this memoir, demonstrating an egregious abdication of Hachette's most basic responsibility."
