Zendaya makes history at the Emmys
On Monday night in Los Angeles, Zendaya won the Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Euphoria. For the 26-year-old, it is already her second Emmy – no one has managed to win two so young before her.
She won the award in 2020 and thus also went down in history as the youngest Emmy winner in this category.
She's also the first black woman to win an Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series twice - another success. This is just the beginning of a successful Hollywood career for Zendaya.
In her acceptance speech, Zendaya states: "I just wanted to say my greatest wish for Euphoria was that it could help heal people. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shared their story with me. I want you to know that anyone who has loved a Rue, or feels like they are a Rue. I want you to know that I am so grateful your stories."
