Musician Paris Jackson has opened up about what daily life looked like during her early childhood at her late father Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. According to People Magazine, Jackson said on the Call Her Daddy podcast that the property’s famous rides, animals and movie spaces were not simply there for her and her siblings to enjoy whenever they wanted. Instead, she described a structured routine built around homeschooling, chores and rewards, offering a more grounded picture of life inside one of pop culture’s most talked-about homes.

Jackson said she did not spend all of her childhood at Neverland, but she does remember its rules. She explained that her days started with homeschooling in a classroom at the ranch before any fun entered the picture. Weekend access to animals, rides and movies depended on behavior, chores and homework. "It was made very, very clear that all of the attractions there were not for us, that did not belong to us, that was for, you know, underprivileged children that were terminally ill that couldn’t go to like Disneyland," said Paris Jackson according to People Magazine.

The singer said that reward systems shaped much of her upbringing. If she and her siblings did what they were supposed to do, then special outings or activities could follow. Jackson described that pattern as consistent, even when the family was no longer living at the ranch. She also made clear that she was not simply running free through an amusement park as a child. "It would’ve been cool, but no, no, I probably would’ve grown up to be an asshole," Paris Jackson told People Magazine. The remark added humor to an otherwise strict family routine.

Jackson also spoke about how often the family changed locations. She said they "hotel-hopped" and usually did not stay in one place for more than a year. The same reward structure followed them from city to city. In Las Vegas, she said, good behavior could mean a weekend trip to Circus Circus. Elsewhere, it might mean a visit to Chuck E. Cheese. She also shared that television and movies were largely off-limits unless it was the weekend, all tasks were finished, or the viewing had some educational purpose tied to film study.
