Did you know Patrick Duffy sang on a hit disco single in the 1980s?

It's true. In 1983, the Dallas star collaborated with French singer Mireille Mathieu on a duet titled "Together We're Strong." On the track, Duffy performs spoken word parts and even belts out verses and the chorus with Mathieu.

Patrick Duffy's hit '80s disco song "Together We're Strong"

"Together We're Strong" was a big hit in Europe in 1983. Backed with the B-side "Something's Going On," the single charted in the Top 5 in Belgium, Finland, France, and the Netherlands.

The even lesser-known B-side "Something's Going On" is another duet with Duffy and Mathieu. The single stands as Duffy's only musical release, and it appeared on Mathieu's 1983 album Je veux l'aimer.

Judging by the single's Discogs record, it was never released in the United States and only saw distribution in Europe through the Ariola and Arabella labels.
