Walker was not only a great actor but a beloved person. He was riding in the passenger seat with his financial advisor and friend, Roger Rodas, who was driving the vehicle when they crashed against a tree and died almost instantly.
Many came to his rescue
When Walker's friends, family, and even employees heard the news, they all grabbed extinguishers and drove to the scene to try and help the actor. Sadly, they saw him trapped in the car, unconscious, and engulfed in flames around him.
A friend and coworker of his told 'TMZ' what he had seen at the scene and disproved theories of people who thought they had seen the actor trying to escape the fire.
