Only close relatives and a few friends are expected to attend.
At one point, the family had reportedly even considered foregoing a formal memorial service altogether.

Questions have also been raised about what happened before Presley’s death. According to people close to him, the facility was reportedly asked in advance whether it would admit Presley despite concerns that he was “high.” The response was allegedly that he should be brought in.
Presley arrived at the facility on September 19 shortly after 6 p.m., after a friend drove him there and his team arranged for his stay.
