• Actor Ezra Miller has been arrested in Hawaii
  • This is the second time this year that Miller has been detained
  • He is being held under suspicion of assault

Scandals in Hollywood are often ubiquitous, and tend to follow the stars for the rest of their entertainment careers. Actor Ezra Miller, best known for playing "The Flash" in Justice League is certainly one of those talents that has found himself in the headlines once again...and not in a flattering way. The actor has been arrested in Hawaii for an alleged physical assault at a party. And it's not the first time either!

The story goes that Ezra became agitated and irate after being asked to leave a get-together at a Big Island home. The actor allegedly threw a chair, hitting a woman in the forehead, according to a news release from the Hawaii Police Department.

The bad news for Miller is that the woman refused treatment for a half-inch cut on her forehead, police said, which serves as further evidence of the assault. Miller was described by police as a 29-year-old visitor from Vermont. He was arrested during a traffic stop and released pending further investigation.

Earlier this year, Miller was on the wrong side of the law as well. On March 28, Ezra was arrested in Hilo, Hawaii, and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after allegedly yelling obscenities and grabbing a microphone from a woman singing karaoke at a bar. But that's not all. Ezra also ended up lunging at a man playing darts at a bar, according to local police...

Ezra Miller's Mistakes Could Cost Him Big

About twelve hours after Miller's arrest, the actor appeared via Zoom for a court hearing for an arrest last month at a Big Island karaoke bar. Ezra Miller pleaded "no contest" to disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay a $500 fine, as well as to stay away from Margarita Village in Hilo.

Now it's all about damage control for Miller and his team. As part of a legal plea deal, prosecutors dropped the harassment charge, along with an unrelated traffic charge after Miller received a traffic citation when police were called to a dispute in downtown Hilo last.

Authorities found Ezra Miller to be uncooperative, and refused to leave the area...not to mention he apparently also obstructed a sidewalk according to the police report. This could all point to some internal troubles in Miller's life perhaps that are leading to more and more public outbursts.

Time will tell just how much this will impact his career., but perhaps Ezra being an LGBTQ+ icon will certainly help to lessen the blow of whatever repercussions may come for him. Let's hope he turns a new leaf very soon!
