Big news music fans! Previously-unreleased songs that Johnny Cash recorded in 1993 will comprise a new album titled 'Songwriter.'. John Carter Cash, the son of Johnny and June Carter Cash, conceptualized and organized the album, as 'Pitchfork' reports. The demos began with just Johnny's guitar and voice and were fleshed out by various musicians.

And there are some big names involved too! Album contributors include Marty Stuart, the late Dave Roe and Pete Abbott each bringing their own unique blends and appreciation for Cash's music.
