On June 12, Pat Sajak announced that he will be retiring from hosting the popular game show, as 'Deadline' reports. "Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last," Pat said via a statement. "It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all."
Whoopi could be a fine choice
While appearing on 'The View' on June 13, 'Jeopardy!' host Ken Jennings was asked about his thoughts on Sajak's retirement. But before he could answer, Goldberg said, "I want that job."

Co-host Joy Behar chimed in and said, "Whoopi wants that job." Goldberg reiterated her desire by stating, "I want that job. I think it would be lots of fun."
