Sidney Greenbush's husband was the horse breeder William "Rocky" Foster. The star, who played "Carrie Ingalls" on Little House on the Prairie, is also an animal lover.

However, help for Sidney Greenbush's husband came too late. The horse breeder died by suicide on May 5, 2009. He was admitted to the hospital but died from a gunshot wound.
