Tia and Tamera Mowry became popular after appearing in the 1990's classic sitcom Sister, Sister, so if you grew up in the mid 1990's you're probably familiar with them! The show revolved around two girls that were separated at birth; one of them was adopted by a single mother while the other was adopted by a couple.
Later on in the series, the two of them accidentally find each other more than ten years later. The show premiered in 1994, and concluded after airing six seasons in 1999. So what have Tia and Tamera done since we last saw her in Sister, Sister?
Sister, Sister: Where are Tia and Tamera Now?
Sister, Sister concluded in 1999, and since then the identical twins have been fairly busy! The sisters then starred together in the Disney Channel Original Movie Twitches in 2005, and later on in its sequel Twitches Too in 2007. They were also featured in the reality series Tia & Tamera from 2011 to 2013.
Tia Mowry has starred in a few films and in more than 20 television shows; her most recent appearances were in Me, Myself & I (2017), as well as My Christmas Inn (2018), A Gingerbread Romance (2018), and A Black Lady Sketch Show (2019). Most recently, she's appeared in the Netflix series Family Reunion from 2019-present. She's been happily married to actor Cory Hardrict since 2008 and has two children.
Tamera Mowry has also starred in a series of very exciting projects! Her most recent appearances are in the 2016 talk show Talking Dead, as well as in the series Hollywood Darlings (2017) and Daytime Divas. She also appeared as host of the 2018 Facebook web series Help Us Get Married. Tamera, too, is happily married! She tied the knot with the American journalist Arthur Adam Housley in 2011, and the pair have two children.
Both Tia and Tamera's most recent made-for-TV films were Christmas movies, which we're not mad about. Tia starred in 2019's A Very Vintage Christmas and for Tamera, A Christmas Miracle, also in 2019 on the Hallmark Channel.
We hope one day to see them on screen together again!
