Mars later moved to Los Angeles, where he pursued his dream of making it in the music industry. After facing numerous challenges, including being signed and dropped by various record labels, his big break finally came when he co-wrote "Flo Rida's" hit song "Right Round" in 2009. This success opened the door for him to step into the limelight as a solo artist.
